15 Chairs - 15 Artists - 15 Chances to Win!
(Note: If you see a chair in one of our public exhibits that is not shown in our online list of auction items, this is because the chair was purchased via the "Buy it Now Option" and is no longer available.)
The Associates of Idyllwild Arts Foundation are auctioning off 15 chairs brought to life by 15 invited artists. As part of our 50th Anniversary celebration, this inaugural event is an unique opportunity to help us raise scholarship money for students attending Idyllwild Arts Academy.
The chairs feature a variety of art mediums, including 2D and 3D, and may be functional or non-functional. Some of the chairs will be held for a live auction on May 26th (see Live Event details).
La Quinta Museum will be exhibiting the chairs from April 10th-March 20th with a reception on Thursday, May 3rd, from 5pm-7pm. The chairs will then return to Middle Ridge Winery Tasting Gallery in Idyllwild from May 21st-25th before the May 26th festivities. Exhibits and gallery receptions are free to the public.
All net proceeds will benefit the scholarship fund of Idyllwild Arts Academy, an internationally acclaimed residential arts high school. One of three in the United States, it is the only such school west of the Mississippi and is home to 300+ students from over 25 countries.

Over the past 50 years the Associates of Idyllwild Arts Foundation has grown to over 200 members and has raised over $2.2 million for art scholarships. Join us in celebrating our past accomplishments and kicking off another 50 years of giving.
